Hi there,
I received an SAR back from Egg regarding loans that I took out.
Egg does not seem to have sent all the CCAs for all Loans and Top-up loans.
I wonder if someone could please advise on this one?
Here's a summary:
LOAN 1 - In Jan 2003 I took an egg loan for £10,000
Egg did not included any CCA for this in the SAR
LOAN 2 - In Nov 2003 I took an egg 'top-up' loan for £10,000
I received part payment to my bank account, the rest went to pay off LOAN 1
Egg did send the signed CCA for this loan in the SAR
LOAN 3 - In Sept 2004 I took an egg loan
I received payment of £1900 to my bank account, the rest went to pay off LOAN 2
Egg did not included any CCA for this in the SAR
In Aug 2005, I paid off LOAN 3.
LOAN 4 - I took another loan for £10,000 in 2006.
I'm still paying back this one
Egg did send the signed CCA for this loan in the SAR
My questions are:
1. Does each top up loan need a new CCA?
2. After my SAR, egg only sent CCAs for Loan 2 and Loan 4, does this likely mean they don't have CCAs for LOAN 1 & 3?
3. Not sure if this is a silly questions but if Egg does not have CCAs for LOAN 1 and 3, would this mean they couldn't prove the loans ever existed?
In theory, could I get the money back that I paid? Or at least ask to reduce the amount still owing on my current loan?
