Default NATWEST bank and NATWEST credit card- are they different claims????

    Hi

Trying to clarify whether I can proceed with claim against credit card, whilst claim against bank is in process.

I live in Scotland (£750 small claims restriction) and have just sent prelim to bank for first £750 - seperate thread in Scotland section.

Have just received statements from credit card (43 days!!- still not received abnk statements) and want to start a claim against them.

If i do will these be treated seperatley and not classed as one claim against Natwesticon- which has implications under Scottish law??????

    Thanks

    M

We did our Natwesticon Credit Card and Bank account claims separately after advice from this forum.

They are separate contracts with different terms and conditionsicon.

Unhappy Re: NATWEST bank and NATWEST credit card- are they different claims????

Further to Mcarrenos post above, should I seperate my Natwesticon current account from my Natwest loan account?

I think in principle you could combine them but I agree with the geenral advice that it is better to keep them seperate because of the different T&Cs - combining them would make for a very confusing particulars of claim and an even more confusing statement of evidence if you got that far.
