Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
hi im new to this forum, i hope someone can help me please i'm looking to reclaim my barclaycard charges
shall I include the PPI charges or do I claim these separately?
And how much interest do i add to the ppi charges?
And lastly my closed Barclaycard account has a balance of £2296 and Barclaycard have registered a default in august 2007, theses charges are worth roughly half of this and I probably can clear the rest is there anyway I can bargain with them to remove the default?
If you claim compound contractual interest in addition to the charges, it could increase your claim considerably, especially if you have older charges. Read up on this in the Interest Tutorial at Link No6 in my signatuire below.
You should deal with the PPI issue separately with BC - start a new thread for this aspect in CAG's PPI forum and you'll get answers there.
Read the Reclaiming Guide at Link No1 in my signature.

a sort of fire-fighting role here. Hate HFC & their past compulsory PPI ethos

Re: help required please
just remember this is a creditcard so is not affected by the 'stay' and that you reclaim the charge+purchase int 'from the date you paid it' to the date of your claim.
