    I mean you no disrespect,but why are you starting a job if you don't know what it involves.Most people use this site because of concerns/problems they are having with a company/firm/organisation.Surely the best person to answer your question is your manager/HR representative.I wish you good luck in your new job.

    Heyy, What it is that they have offered me this post and they havent really told me what it inccours, They said I would be involved in 'collectiting Assets' However I have heard a few dodgy things about BH on this forum So just wondered if it was people who would have the same job title as me who were causing people to feel likt this.

    Sorry mate, but why have you accepted a job if you don't know what it involves. From reading posts on this site, you will be aware of some of the problems people have with Brighthouse and others.You might be one of the nicer employees who will help customers in difficulty (we know there are some).As I said, good luck in your new job.

    If you are not in financial trouble how did you find this site?

    How do we know you are not working for Brighthouse and trying to trap
    current employees for example, into revealing themselves?

    that thought crossed my mind too.I was trying to get Ryan to reveal who he/she really is.After all,we know some employees of companies/firms/organisations do come on here to try and find information .I may be wrong, but I still can't understand why, if it was genuine, he/she would come on here to find out what the job involves.

    "..Debt collections experience preferred (although not essential, as we tend to make it up as we go along...). You should have an understanding or knowledge of debt managementicon (pay up - or the kitten gets it!) and successful collection techniques ("Unplug that telly, missus - it's coming with me!"). Heavy lifting is involved (Get yer ass off that suite, missus - it's coming with me as well!"). You will be responsible for the recovery of products to minimise company asset and cash losses (Get 'em back, wipe 'em over, and re-sell 'em...) and establish a strong working relationship with our store network and provide them with effective support... (Graduates of RADA with good acting skills are preferred, as you may, from time to time, have to pretend you are a bailif...)

    Never been in a Brighthouse shop, but once looked in the window. They charge ridiclous amounts for goods - like three times as much as Argos!

    I know they don't do credit checks, but they defo rip people off with their prices. I would rather do without than buy anything from these legal theives.

    I AM NOT Trying to get anybody in trouble, merly asking if anybody knew what the job was about HONESTLY!!

    And I couldnt Reply sooner as I was at my current work and finished at 10pm!

    How many people go for a job without knowing about the company ?
    These days Employers are likely to ask at interview what YOU know about THEM !
