Default Vanquis Account now with Cabot

    Hi There,

Recently Vanquis sent my debt to cabot financial and they have been chasing me for the debt. I sent them the standard letter and £1 to request the information.

I got a few letters back from cabot saying that Vanquis were unable to supply them the information at this time but they will continue to make requests, this went on for a couple of months so at this point I was hopefull that they would not be able to get it.

Howver last week Cabot sent me a large block of paperwork from vanquis. I have gone through it all and there seems to be copies of my monthly statements while with Vanquis a "digital signatureicon application details" that although has my phone number, email and employment details are on it my name isn`t actually on there. I also have the vanquis credit card agreement and full terms. the only other thing I have is a letter which is a notice of sum of arrears telling me what is outstanding and what I have to pay.

I dont have any letter regrding them informing me the account was going to be passed to cabot financial.

What letter should I sent to Cabot next?

    Many Thanks

Is it possible for you to scan the main documents and post them here?
(You need to blank out any personal information). You can scan the Docs to Paint or similar program and edit out personal info, then upload the picture to Photobucket to show here. I will get someone to look at them when it is done.

Sorry I personally cannot be more helpful.

Simply download the CAG toolbar and use it as often as you possibly can for your Internet Searches. This will cost you nothing at all, but the sponsors will donate small amounts each time to the running of this site.

A copy of the digital agreement and T's and C's will do for now. Can you remember when the agreement was taken out? If it was over 6 yearsicon ago, the debt may now be Statute Barred.

Many thanks for this. No it was taken out in 2007 if I remember rightly. I have scanned the docs to here. This is all the sent apart from copies of my statements.

    Hi,

Are there any charges you could re-claim, remember with a on-line application a 'tick' in the box will suffice for your signatureicon.

    Regards.

    Scott.

Not much but I`ll go through the statements and look for charges. So I take it I will need to accept the debt and arrange a payment plan with cabot?. I thought my name and address would still have to be on that digital signatureicon doc...it has very little info about me, including name and address....but I dont really know thats why I posted here ;-)

There seems to be a page missing from http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...anquisDoc1.jpg

I cannot seem to find anywhere where the 'tick box' has been signed agreeing to the T&Cs etc & unless that is produced I can't see the agreement being enforceable.

Make sure you do not post anything which identifies you. Although we can remove certain things from the site unless it's done in a timely manner everything you post will appear in Google cache & we do not have any control over that.
