Default The Financial Ombudsman Service - record your calls

Apparently the fosicon is doing a lot of their business on the phone. This cuts down delays in communications and so it is good nes.
On the other hand, calls are later, deniable.
We are hearing quite a few stories now where FOS calls have contained very interesting information but which later on cannot be proved and which would have been very useful had there been some evidence of them.

Record your calls. Not only with your bank - but also with the FOS - and infact wiht anyone you deal with.

The best recorder is truecallicon. It will record everything and log times, dates, duration, caller id - everything - as well as screeing out unwanted calls.
It's £100 but worth every penny.
If you can't get a truecallicon - then get something - but record your calls.

If you don't then you only have yourself to blame

    Very true

I norticed that with my case. They phone now but fail to mention calls are being recorded anymore so i assume they are not.

I have a tel microphone that can pick up calls so will use that next time they call.
