Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have a IF credit which has now became a Halifax credit card. I never agreed to them taking it over or signed anything to say they could even though they asked me to.
I'm in a debt management plan now with CCCS due to a change in my work circumstances beyond my control and I asked for a copy of the credit agreement from IF. They have sent me what looks like two standard print outs of terms and conditions no actual agreement with signatures.
I'm wondering what I should do next? With Halifax taking over the credit card I wonder if they even have a copy of my original agreement from IF.
Would me posting a copy of the standard agreement they did sent help?
I can upload them for you guys to have a look at, however they are just bog standard print outs.
