Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have tried since last September to get information regarding PPI payments with a mortgage that i had withthe Lloyds tsb.
I finally got through yesterday and went through all the security questions. i explained that when i asked and paid for a SAR that the details of this mortgage were missing, the lady told me that they do not include these statments in the SAR report andthat if i want copies i would have to send a payment of £22.50 for every year of the mortgage.
Go back to them and remind them that a SAR means ALL the data relating to you, no exceptions. Contact their Data office rather than the regular helpline, you might have better luck in getting someone who does understand the DPA!
Apologies to people who I was in the process of helping, I may be gone some time.
