Thread: LTSB HELP - need the address for the harassment letter

HELP PLEASE
The OH has a CC (Mastercard) with LTSB, with a £1,500 limit - he was recently out of work and we relied on this card. Anyhow ....he went above the limit by a couple of hundred - and didn't pay back the full minimum payment for a couple of months.
Lloyds have been harassing us constantly, 3 or 4 times a day for months now - EVERY day of the week!
My OH called them to put a stop to the calls, as he was back in work and able to resume payments - but was still over the limit due to the added interest .... They advised him to stop the card - OH agreed and now they have reduced the limit to £200. making us permantly over the limit and attracting £12.00 fees in Default sums and £12.00 overlimit charges monthly - meaning we will never catch up!
They are still harassing us. OH has answed one of the calls and told them to stop the calls, and correspond in writing only, they said the would continue to call unless we set up a DD and pay an amount (that we dont know) monthly.
I am paying back more than the amount they say is the minimum required on the monthly statement they send us - but still they call
What I don't understand is

1 - how they can just change the limit from £1500.00 to £200.
2 - Why are they sending us a monthly statement and asking for a % that we promptly pay - and yet say they want a DD payment only...

I have just writen the Harassment letter - but cant get it to print! And who do I send it to?

BTW I have sucessfully had Lloyds in the past on Bank Charges! - Id love to do it again!!!!!!

I have sucessfull won agaist Lloyds Bank (and Halifax - and Nationwide) but I have got older and confused as to where I got the determination from last time.......I will have to find it again!
Did you have any comment to make on the advice they gave OH to cancel the card - then change the credit limit from 1500 to 200, meaning we will be forever getting charges for being ovet the (new) limit?

Right - Have just done the Harassment letter - all ready for OH to sign the Address from the stickies that seems the most appropriate was the customer care -125 Colome Road B3 3SF
Can anyone confirm that is that correct?

i just got ALL my charges back + 8%. be persitant and they will budge and dont worry!

I havnt been getting on with my quest too much, as a bit busy this week! BUT the letter to stop the Harassment has gone off - recorded - and I have instucted the OH NOT to speak tp them on the phone...But he is not being too helpful! (he has no faith that I will win - if I take them on!)
I will be needing LOTS of help soon , I think!

credit card d..... they will huff and puff and send you jargon but trust me YOU WILL WIN ....... but bank charges well! thats another matter

I was lucky - I did the bank charges at the earlier stage! BUT ltsb did actually send a lawyer to court to defend them!!! BUT we settled (the full amount) outside...then the lawyer told me that she also had loads of charges with LTSB....so I sent her to this site to reclaim them!!!........wonder how she got on!!!
