Hi there,
I need my MPAN number and meter serial number to change supplier but i have been told to wait for my next bill, in three months? Is that right?
My last bill had the old number on it as the meter has just been changed and I am on a high rate with the company as I have recently moved into the house and have not taken out electricity with supplier to the last occupier so I want to move companies fast and not wait another three months.
Thanks.
Your MPAN will have remained the same as on the previous bill - that doesn't tend to change, so you could provide this to your new supplier and the serial number from the meter that has just been installed.
Check with your current supplier that they have updated the meter details, and why not ask them if they have any better deals
