Hi All,
Two questions;
1) I'm about to print off my Prelim approach letter to regain my bank charges from LloydsTSB. Is there a revised version which covers the recent county court
judging?
I've had a few phonecalls recently from the collections agencies and when I have informed them that I'm reclaiming my charges they tell me "But there was a court ruling in favour of banks so you can no longer claim" - which I know is complete rubbish. It seems all debt collectionagencies believe this and I just have a feeling that they may reply to my Prelim letter with the same garbage.
2) I had a court claim with Lloyds TSB 4 years ago in which they paid me 80% of the claimed amount, despite my refusal of their offer (unfortunately I did not continue with my claim). This is the same account which has once again become in arrears due to £1,800 worth of charges.
In my letter should I draw attention to the last court claim?
As always, your help is very much appreciated
