Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
hi .... i am logged on behalf of my sister who doesnt have internet- she is a single parent with 2 children and over the past2 years she has been hit hard by Lloyds tsb bank charges....the bank wont assist ...normal reply - crap
Sounds just like all the banks and lot of us in the same boat
Start by reading the FAQ's and step by step and print them so your sis has a copy for when the letters start coming when she starts.
Please read as much as poss so you understand what you will be doing and understand that they may close the account so get her to open a new one.
Tell her to try a Natwest step account and this is a good one if you have a not so good credit rating
When you are both ready start a thread in the ltsb forum for any other questions and you will get all the support you will need and get the UNLAWFUL charges back
Good luck
Welly
