Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Read what it says in the dispute letter. Also read what the OFT draft guidelines say and what should be sent to you. DO NOT read the part where it refers to "stupid people" giving them a short version. Read what it says TO THE BANKS.
Then you should be able to answer yourself. For example, one of the missing things starts with the letter "s".
You can also read the McGuffick judgement and see what it says on there the bank forgot to give their client and could not give once the proceedings had started. Now I do not think I can give you a better hint as to what "one of the missing things is".
Hate to jump on your thread, but I've just posted one of my own on the exact subject after receiving the same S.78 response that you got. Did you manage to fathom out what the missing thing that started with the letter "s" was?
