The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi everyone,I have a claim in court against Lloyds for bank charges which was stayed.I also have a DCA trying to pursue an overdraft most of which was due to bank charges.I have written to the DCA telling them that they may not pursue an alleged debt that is in the county court system. They stopped writing to me,however I have received a letter from the court telling me that I must file and serve full particulars of my claim by 10 Feb 2010,if I do not do this my claim will be struck off.If this happens the DCA will resume their actions. As the Supreme Court threw out the OFT case I don't know how I stand.I'm sure that there must be many people in the same boat as I am,can anyone tell me what course I should take.
