    Default Advice please

We would like to commence action against Abbeyicon but would like a little advice...Due to the level of charges for going slightly over the overdrafticon limit when using debit card...totaling in over five hundred pounds in charges just before christmas. This unforntunatley pushed us over the edge and after writing and exchanged calls which led to nothing, we were forced to put our finances in the hands of the cccs who have now arranged a repayment planicon for our creditors being mostly the abbey. Will this in any way affect a court claim against abbey. Any advice is greatly appreciated. We think this site is tremendous and wish we had seen it sooner.....Thanks

If the arrangements yo have with the Abbeyicon are properly agreed in writing then it seems unlikely that they couls cause you trouble in this way. however, you will ahve to examin any agreement which you have made and decide.

How much of your debt to them is charges? and how much is legit debt?

Presumably you have already been defaulted.

Please don't pm me about specific questions unless you have posted and it has not been dealt with or unless the matter is confidential.

    Hello

I am in exactly the same position - just going with CCCS, but I am also putting a claim in to Abbeyicon against these horrendous charges and I don't see any reason why we should be deterred from that
