Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
We seem to have had some success in a round about sort of way. With the microfiche problem, we received an offer so wrote back askign how they had come to this figure. Got a standard letter back about £3 of statement etc.. so wrote again saying we didn't want statement but how had they acheived the figure of £202 and if they were still charging £12 that ment the figure was closer to £404. Sort of worked! Received a letter yesterday with a Breakdown of how they sorted out a figure. Might work of others. Let me know
Nice one tattietoo, I just went through my online statements from my bank account, any cheque payments after the 18th of a month (usual pay by date) I have classed as a late payment, in readyness for my estimate.
