Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi all, my girlfriend has gone £100 over her credit limit on her credit card account and is struggling to make repayments with charges they add on top ect, is there a template letter to send Lloyds TSB if they would freeze interest for a while so she can get back on her feet? thanks
Just write a letter, in your own words, saying exactly that, or phone them. If you appear 'reasonable' and genuinely 'wanting to pay' but it being nigh impossible with interest being charged every month, they may help. Depends on who you speak to really. They won't do it for more than 3 or 6 months, though. Try it! It really does help temporarily. Good luck.
