    Default Can a lender sell a debt while it is in dispute?

    Hi Everyone
    I would appreciate if you can refer me to a law or document that prohibits lenders from selling a debt on while it is in dispute. I had a dispute with MBNAicon but they sold the debt to DCAicon during the complaint.

    CCA s78 (6) in default of your lawful request means they cannot take further action, which includes sale.
