Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I always left only a few hundred in my account, and had £9000 in a saving account, i knew i spend buying christmas presents etc, but on christmas eve i checked my account said nill, i panicked as it says the transactions hadn't come through, so i thought transfer my savings then once the money is through put my savings back.
It was a gambling account, thing is i went on it once to try it.
So tsb said it could take up to a month as i was on it.
I reported it nearly 3 weeks ago, the fraud department said because i was £1000 overdrawn take out a £2000 overdraft so i can carry on spending, thing is i can't afford that if i don't get the money and i was to write a letter, and highlight the statements and i sent it of the following day so it would be sorted asap.
after waiting 2 weeks and hearing nothing, i phoned up on thursday and asked them, they said you haven't sent us the letter yet, i said i have and was told to do it again as they never got it, which was done on thursday past.
I have been nearly 3 weeks with no money !
people have said to me its the bank at fault as they accepted the transaction, also it says they do phone if they think something suspisious, surely it was suspisious that amount ?
I have even had overdrawn letters which i have never been overdrawn in my life, i was a good saver !
