Thread: Letter before action - Business & Personal

Hi

I got my reply last week ref my personal account and they have offered me £1,050.00 as a goodwill gesture (Im claiming £3,927.00). But am going to dismiss this and carry on.

I am still waiting for a letter/offer re: my business account (Im claiming £5,279.00) - but nothing yet

I am considering seperating the claim into 2 (1 x personal, 1 x business) even though I originally sent it in as one. But because they have only replied on the personal one then I presume that this is the right thing to do? What did you do?

Also I understand it that the text for the lba's are different in relation to business & personal i.e. consumer credit act would only be relative for personal accounts?

Help - what should I do?? :-|

p.s. If this is the case has anyone got the right text to use for each letter? It would be greatly appreciated.
