Thread: cash generator bulls..t

hi need a little advice from you guys..
my sister bought a laptop 2 days before xmas eve from accrington cash generator, on xmas eve my sister asked me to check to see if all was ok, omg iv never come across rubbish like this for £100 which my sister paid
upon start up the screen saver colours all merged together forming as i said a exploded rainbow
secondly 4 usb ports in the back of the laptop had no guts in them
then thirdly the machine had a noticeably loud churning noise(not the fan) this was an extra besides the fan
oh i did omit to mention a wireless card was given to my sister by the assistant saying i quote}i will give you this free of charge } he knowingly gave this wireless card because it had 2 usb ports built in,may i add the wirelss card only acted as a usb port,because it was not recognised by the laptop what so ever
nowe i emailed the store on boxing day i know they were not opened but needed to get it off my chest about this contraption, plus my nephew had no xmas present thanks to them
i have my reciepts for this
my mum was shopping in accrington in the last week so i asked her to pop it back to the shop and have the assistant ring me so my mum did not have to go into something she didnt know much about
he did ring and say THEY WILL LOOK AT IT FOR ME
as far as im concerned it dosent need looking at it needs outting in the bin
how am i fixed for a refund guys because i feel they are making it hard for me

what has the shop said so far?

thanks for your reply ...they said they would have a look at the laptop. i have emailed them since and told them i dont want it looked at shr wants hermoney back ...no reply that was a week ago

you e-mailed them on boxing day. thats one tick.

did you go in the shop/call them with 7 days.

befoe you got the lappy was there any display tag saying anything abouth the faults or was you told?

anyway you have at lease 7 days cooling off time.

i will add that the guy(assistant) said nothing about the 2 usb ports not working
but when i rang them he said i quote,,
do you not remember me telling you about those ports not working..
he said nothing at all about this

Ring him back and ask him again about the USB ports, adding "Do you not remember me saying that I was recording the conversation on my USB recorder?"
