I am thinking of attempting to get my charges from my credit card back now as well. i sent my letter for my current account to my local branch but when I get statements regarding my credit card (also with BOS) they are from somewhere in England.
Should I say that I have already paid my £10 when I apply to get my statements for my credit card or just put another 10 cheque in with the letter?
Unfortunately 1 request only covers all if its made at the same time.
Therefore you will have to make an additional request with another 10.00
Specify the account numbers etc.
If the application is in the system and not currently being dealt with then its always possible you could add the additional account details to your request in writing.
You may even get all the info if your request was for all info and not specific to your current account.
Could even be worth a call 08457 20 30 40 ask for Data protection section and speak to Mr.Percys P.A whose name I think is monica.

Got a reply from BOS saying I will be receiving my request for statements in the next couple of days.
In the letter there is a paragraph:
"...With regard to your request for information relating to manual intervention on your account, HBOS plc is under no statutory obligation to record this information and therefore, I am unable to assist further with your request.."
Received some statements today, it seems quite random what statements I got. They go from 20th April 2004 to 25th September 2005. It states that there are 26 (page 1 of 26 and so on) pages of statements but when I go through there are only 23.
Fair enough I didnt expect to get all my statements in one go, but I thought I would get the ones from earlier first, I didnt expect to get them in a random order.
Ive had this account for about 10 years, and was expecting to get the statements from the past 6 years.
Should more statements come in the next couple of days?
Its possible they will follow.
If they dont .....give them a call.
