    Default 8% Confusion

    hi

i am just about to put my prelim letter in the post but am confused about when we sould be adding the 8% charges??

what are the 8% charges relating too?

It kind of reads that we should nt be adding them until the bank refuse the refund is this correct??

but then there is a spreadsheet that says should be sent with the prelim letter that adds the 8% to your calculation?

Sorry for being so thick on this one. any help gratefully received.

Hi Vikki and welcome, th 8% interesticon in S69 interest which is added to your claim when you file it with the court, in the meantime, when you have filled out the spreadsheet and saved it, delete the interest bit and print, but dont save, alternatively you can call the spreadsheets different names and send the one without the interest to the Bank in your prelim and lbaicon.

Hope this helps any more questions, just ask, it will be worth your while starting a thread in the bank that you are will section and it helps us to see your progress and for others to share your experiences

    Best Regards

    Hi Vikki

Forget the 8% as this will only be claimed when you file at court could you start a new threadicon in your banks forum and we can all follow how you are doing and spend some time reading the forums and you will find most answers in there.

Dont add the 8% to your prelim spread sheet.

Goto the FAQ's and the step by step and this will also help
