Volunatary Termination - creating credit record problems?
I have a question. My car hire purchase agreement ends in 9 months and I am going to go over the agreed mileage. So I'm considering giving the car back, which BMW finance is happy with. I've paid past the half way point.
But I don't want to give myself problems by having the voluntary termination on my credit record. I've heard it can lead to problems.
Re: Volunatary Termination - creating credit record problems?
I don't believe what you have heard is correct.
The VT option is clearly detailed within your hire purchase agreement and, by definition therefore, if you take this option you are not in default with your HP agreement terms and cannot be shown as a "credit problem" on your file.
