Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I went nto my branch today, with DPA letter, just wondered how long approx does it take to get payout for full settlement not prepared to take any less and will fight as long as it takes.
Can take quite a while, and remember the bank dont want to pay out so will delay at every opportunity. 40 days for DPA SAR, 14 days prelim, 14 days lba, court action, 7 days-??days!! Just need to keep to a strict timetable of your own to stop the process taking even longer!!
Just follow the procedures and dont take any short cuts.
