Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I am a claimant in a personal injury claim which the defendant has filed a defence for. "without prejudice" discussions to settle have broken down and we have not been able to agree a settlement. I am advised that as claimant, making a reasonable part 36 offer may put them under pressure to settle because of cost implications. However, I am unsure how to draft it and what needs to be included. Has anyone ever seen one of these and could I possible have a template to work from please? The defendant in the case is represented by a solicitor.
