    Default Abbey CCA

I have an Abbeyicon card which I have been paying a nominal amount on for the last few months (prior to that I missed some payments). I was getting a lot of calls from Abbey and I wrote to them stating that the agreement was not in the prescribed format etc and that it was unenforcable.
THey have written back to me saying that they have received my letter the contents of which have been noted.

They go on to say that they look forward to being able to discuss a level of repayment that would be acceptable to them. The "Reduced Payment Program" would be on my credit file for the life of the account plus 6 yearsicon and would not relieve me of my responsibility to repay the debt. Should I wish to discuss it please ring them in the next 2 days (yeah right - letter arrived today dated before Christmas!!) with details of my income, expenditure and other creditors.

I assume this is an avoidance tactic and that a letter in reply is required, but I would appreciate any pointers as to how I should word it as in things to include and anything I should not be mentioning

    O/draft £10k (was £15k Dec 2007) now £5.5k
