Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
can anyone give me some reassurance that I am going along the right lines. I have made a claim to welcome for missold PPI. This was a joint loan completed over the phone and ppi added for first named only, for 5 years and no previous health issues discussed. I have sent the first template letter which Welcome responded to by way of the questionnaire.( I now realise from these forums that maybe I shouldn`t have completed but I did) I have now had a letter saying my compllaint is being investigated and they will respond in due course. How long is "due course"? I really need a positive outcome and very, very soon. What will I do next?
I have spoke to Welcome today and was told that they are behind with claims. They are employing more staff to deal and apparently the fos know about their situation. how can I speed things up? I desperately need the cash
also have sent the request for no more phone calls recorded delivery last week along with cca request. Guess what I have had 2 calls today, one to my work and one on the mobile
Anyone have any idea Welcome will take to post cheque for PPI refund that I have agreed as Full and final settlement. It has taken since October to reach this stage
If agreed no longer than 14 working days ... please share your story so others may make claim and learn from your process.

I received my cheque on Saturday for PPI sold to me on 3 separate times. I simply used the template letter from here and sent it to Welcome. They sent me the questionnaire which I filled my name out on and returned. Lo and behold I received an offer about 3 weeks ago which stated that although they did not agree thaey would refund me and included 8% interest. Simples!!!
I have requested a site team member to change this thread title to WON.
