Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
hi all i know this forum is a few months but it is exactly what i am looking for.
I am new to this and am currently filling out the FSCS form for my girlfriend in regards to PPI mis-selling
I have found her loan agreement which i hope you don't mind me posting some details from, she was blindly unaware that she was paying PPI. The loan was initially taken out in May 05
Amount of advance £30,000
picture ppi £7,485
total amount of credit £37,485
she doesn't remeber PPI being discussed during her initial loan setup over the phone and I have noticed on her loan agreement that none of the the check boxes have been ticked for any form of PPI, is that good enough grounds to claim mis-selling?

any feedback would be great
I am sure Picture went into administration. Cannot find the relevant threads but the way to claim is to approach the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) as you mention in this post. There have been successess through the FSCS but it takes some time. Other claimants have received compensation so chin up
Try a search and you should find the relevant information.

Please do not PM me for advice as it may be sometime before I can respond.
Keep at them. Do not give way and do not accept all they tell you, they will delay and stall for as long as they can to prevent repaying you your mis-sold PPI.
