thanks for that link, as you say hopefully it will sticky. I think the process of getting the statments seems the biggest battle, as the process once you have worked out your charges is fairly straightforward. So thanks again for providing this info. I have a couple of qs which I have posted against the 'How to order' thread.

How many bank workers are registered on this site? Quite a few if I read some of the threads and yet little ol me the only one to spill some info on statement ordering. Come on BW's you know you want to, tell us how other banks do this. It is common knowledge and not a breach of your contract, so go on go on go on go on, do you want to spill some info, go on, go on go on go on go on!

    Nice work

I challenge any BWs from Abbeyicon or Barclaycard to explain their process !!
(easier to get hold of the crown jewels )
And I mean a process which would not invite the responses usually forthcoming.

Lets hope NWSM has maybe started something which can be added to with the same gusto that we see in banks taking charges !!

At least if youre going to bother to post.........post something constructive.
You will get far more respect here for that.

Otherwise whats the point, other than sitting on the sidelines observing ?

    Good to see it.

I am sure you will acknowledge that it makes for fascinating reading.
But then again I am sure some of the stories here will not be new to you.

i go onto my pc, the enquires program, click on copy statement request, put in the dates required, click ok.

that isn't too much help, as it is the procedure the bank worker follows, and is for all accounts.

Thats consistent with what the general thoughts are.
Are there any error messages that come up on screen when you do this ?
Abbeyicon will have us believe there are.

Microfiche Alert* Microfiche Alert * Microfiche Alert *

Please advise the customer of charges for his account statements.....they must be claiming from us it is not in our interests to send statements at this time......contact Data Protection section for full stalling procedures.
