Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I CCA'd Egg regarding a loan agreement and below is a copy of that very agreement. I would be very much obliged if someone could have a read through and point me in the right direction as to how to proceed, what to read and what to do, assuming of course I have a dodgy agreement.
I have just borrowed this quote from another thread
"
Your signature needs to be on the same page as the prescribed terms, Credit limit or reference to it, interest rate expressed as an APR and repayment schedule.
"
With that in mind I would say that your "agreement" falls into the unenforceable camp.
im sure someone with better knowlege will be along in a bit for you to confirm.
Thanks Yubnub. Can anyone confrm Yubnubs thoughts and what would be my next best course of action. Should I write telling Egg I consider the account to be in dispute?
Thanks
Anyone?
From what Ive been reading its possible that my agreement is enforcable. It seems to meet all the terms and conditions. The signature that Yubnub says should be on the same page may have been on the reverse side of the document. Is this still valid ?
