Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi there,
I meant to post last week but it all happened so fast!
I submitted a request to Halifax to repay charges on 2 halifax credit cards.
Within a week I had received a letter regarding one of the cards saying that they where going to repay the charges in full including interest totalling £794.78. I am yet to hear about my other card but I assume i will be the same!
I am now going after the PPI, the insurance I was told at the time was obligatory, but given that I was a student and working on average 10 hours a week there is no way I could have claimed, so I am now asking for £249.24 + interest totalling £310.18 back off them, the balance left on my card at the mo is £250 so it will clear the card and give me a bit of pocket money (much needed)!
I won a case of reclaiming ppi against Egg last week so hoping this one will be a success too!
