Default Won Charges Now Going After PPI

    Hi there,
I meant to post last week but it all happened so fast!

I submitted a request to Halifaxicon to repay charges on 2 halifax credit cards.

Within a week I had received a letter regarding one of the cards saying that they where going to repay the charges in full including interesticon totalling £794.78. I am yet to hear about my other card but I assume i will be the same!

I am now going after the PPIicon, the insurance I was told at the time was obligatory, but given that I was a student and working on average 10 hours a week there is no way I could have claimed, so I am now asking for £249.24 + interest totalling £310.18 back off them, the balance left on my card at the mo is £250 so it will clear the card and give me a bit of pocket money (much needed)!

I won a case of reclaiming ppi against Eggicon last week so hoping this one will be a success too!

Keep at them. Do not give way and do not accept all they tell you, they will delay and stall for as long as they can to prevent repaying you your mis-sold PPI.
