Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I would like to take a vehicle dealership to court. This is relating to a cambelt destroying the engine. I have an expert witness as to why the dealership is to fault.
The details, however, are irrelevant at this point as I'm getting mixed advice regarding legal aid.
I am currently on Employment Support Allowance therefore can't afford to pay a solicitor.
I am told by some that I am entitled to legal aid [or whatever it may be called these days] due to income. Others, however, disagree as the vehicle in question was used partly for business at the time.
But the vehicle was also my sole form of transport. So who is right or is it a funny mix of the two...?
Any advice will be welcome.
Rae.
