    Default Come on!!!!

    Hi!

    This is our first posting although we have visited this fantastic site several times over the last few weeks-kept meaning to say 'Hello'!
    We are commencing battle with A and L- spent the weekend going through 6 yrsicon worth of statements and working out just how much they had taken off us over the time- a staggering £3,217.50.
    The preliminary letter for repayment is just about to wing its way towards the postbox with our fingers and toes massively crossed!
    It's battle all the way for us-we shall see this through!
    Can we just say a huge thanks to this site and to the people out there that have posted some really helpful and reassuring comments......thanks!!

    may i say .... dont cross your fingers and toes for 2 reasons

    1) you will get cramp
    2) you dont need luck!!

    seems to me that you have everything in hand. keep copies of everything they send you and you send them!!

    8/8 CLAIM ACKNOWLEDGED GIVING THEM TILL 21/8.......
    SETTLED IN FULL!!!!!!!

    16/6 Data Protection Act SENT OFF

    5/8 t mobile have failed to comply with the Data Protection Act/S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) reques ....BRING IT ON BABY!!
    7/8 LBE SENT GIVING THEM 7 DAYS TO COUGH UP MY CASH
    7/9 FULL REFUND BEEN SENT!!

    if you've read the posts on this forum you'll know you're in very good hands.
    thanks to the help and advice from people on this forum, i'm just a couple of weeks away from getting my money back. just keep reading, especially the FAQ's, and you'll soon realise you don't need luck. its all so easy..

    A&L Data Protection Act sent 8/6/2006 - Statements received 27/7 - Prelim request for payment sent 28/7 - LBA sent 8/8 - MCOL 21/8 - Settled in full £3317.66 20/9
    MBNA Data Protection Act sent 8/8 - 14/9 Offer of £2,247.35 accepted. (£1,160 charges plus compound interest). Second account = offer of £1,182.30 (£436 charges plus compound interest)
    Morgan Stanley Data Protection Act sent 8/8 Total of £875 charges.
