    Default BarclayCard charges

Those scandolous people have been hassling me big-time recently. Not satisfied with charging me £24 /mnth for Late payment but also charging me interesticon rates on standard balance AND cash balance. Whatever these are about I really dont know. I'd be interested in hearing from anyone with similar issues! Any help would be of use.

yep, they hide it via various names.
but if you didn't ask for it you should be charged it.

have a look in the PPIicon forum at the sticky entitled 'notes for claimants' that should give you tthe basic info to start that one.

call for help if you need it.

and start a new threadicon there too!

Checked the PPIicon forum. Their doesnt seem to be any sign that I've been charged for 'insurance'. Since October I've not paid anything, for various reasons 1 Thought I'd set up a d/d 2 I've not checcked my statements.
Soon as i realised it was gtting out of hand (last week) I made an immediate payment of £200. Since then they've not stopped ringing me! funnily (!?) enough before that they NEVER
    rang me once.

Thanks peeps, I'll do that. I have already done that, which they chose to ignore (2 months ago). But this time I'll send it recorded delivery. It's quite horrible, they call at ALL hours. Sunday evening on the one time I did take the call, I found myself confirming my address, phone numbers etc. The following day my internet a/c was blocked and calls from 'Mercers' started.
Thanks again....this is not a nice time...all appreciated.

See here about the TruCall device - peeps that use it say it works a treat. The Consumer Forums - telephone recorders reviews.

If you've already sent a SARicon but no response, was it a proper Site template letter enclosing the £10 fee.

If it was, don't just send another with more money. See items 18, 19 and 20 in the Bank Template Library about SARicon non-compliance.

General rule is to NOT answer security Q's and hang up.

What has your internet a/c got to do with Mercers.

That's certainly not a trick I've heard of BC using and, even if they wanted to, I don't see how they could affect your computer access to the WorldWideWonderWeb.
