Thread: Egg pay out!

All,

I have just received confirmation that my CC PPI claim has been successful. Not bad since I wrote to Egg 2 weeks ago.

They state that the repayments = £2895.55 and that the 8% interest = £251.79.

I just wondered - does the interest sound enough?

Have you added up the payments yourself ?

The 8% is probably accurate but i would question whether or not the £2895.55 is your total PPI payments or you ppi payments plus the interest you have also paid.

The figures are not that far from my mums and that means she has a shortfall of £1200 due to the interest she has already paid on top of the ppi.

Please check yours as it's not a small sum.
