Internet Purchases of Services
I am not sure if this is the right forum, if not I apologise.
I wanted to try and find out where the law stands of buying services over the internet, i shall explain.
There is a UK company... well indvidual that does cookery courses, I emailed him at 16.02pm on 4th December asking him to book me on a course on the 11th December.
After thinking about things I felt that i didnt really have the cash for the course so emailed him at 19.49 on the same day saying that I cannot attend.
He replies saying that he will still need to bill me so I may as well attend, I reply politly saying that I am not going to pay for something I am not going to attend.
I wanted to find out where the law stands on this.
- there are no
terms and conditions explaining anything at all on his website.
- I am UK based as is he.
- I have not paid any money or deposit at all

Beware not all members of CAG are caggers, there are some who will deliberately misinform or try to undermine information you have been given, at the end of the day it is you that must decide on what action to take.
When making a post do not make threats or libelous comments against companies, their employees or other posters otherwise it will be edited/removed. Both you and CAG could face possible legal action.
If CAG has helped you, can you now help keep CAG running by making a donation no matter how small? Click here
