Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Been trying to find some simple pointers and advice on here but can't seem to find the advice i'm looking for.
I went overdrawn by 53p for 2 days and was charged £35
And then after that they charged me another £25 for a £17 transaction where the money came out the same day i was paid?
I've booked to see a branch manager next Saturday and wondered if anyone could help point me in the right direction of what to say?
Tell them you want your money refunded as there is no way they can justify charging those sort of amounts, If it's the first time you've been charged like this, there's a good chance you'll get it back.
Regards.
Scott.

I've had a word with another branch and was told to try on the phone using the customer services number on the back of your bank card.
State to them that you are usually good with your money, don't go over the limit often and that you would like some advice on how to avoid any charges in future, etc... And ask if they can see if there is anything they can do to waiver the charges this time.
Result.... (if you haven't done this too many times before) You get all charges refunded!!
I was told this by a member of the Nottingham branch, who was extremely helpful unlike the other branch i popped into.
Just thought i'd share that info in case anyone hasn't tried it.
