    Default National Press Article

I've been telling a few friends about this site and the fact that I'm pursuing Abbeyicon for my charges, and one of them works for a national newspaper. She has asked if I would be willing to have my story case studied and put into a money section within the next few weeks.

Now, while I'm glad this is making the press, I'm not too sure whether this will help or hinder my case.

Can anyone provide any advice on this for me?

Let us know a bit more about your claim. Where are you up to and which paper is it?

I requested bank statements last week and they said it would take 4-6 weeks for them to arrive. I'm not sure exactly how much my charges will be in total but I expect they will be in excess of £2500 over the past 6 yearsicon.

I've contacted Money Claim Online for information as I live in Scotland and they've confirmed I can use the English small claims system as I have a correspondance address in England.

I don't really want to give the name of the person or the paper as I know banks are looking through these sites, and also I haven't agreed to go ahead with this yet.

I just want to know whether the bank would look to make an example out of me if I do decide to go ahead with this? Or, should I just carry on with my action and decide at the end what to do?

I've been asked to keep a diary of events so I'll do that anyway. I'm seeing my friend this weekend so I'll find out more details and update this post on Monday.
