Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
My son suffers from mild asthma as do I and I'm sure (even though I don't smoke around him) that my smoking can be of no help to his health.
I also want to have another child in the next year and really want to quit before (as the money I am wasting is rediculous and would make life much easier when on maternity leave)
Also on heavier smoking days my lungs do grown (i'm on about 30 a day)
Having said all this I just can't muster up the will power to quit and am surrounded by patches and gums from previous failed events.
Hi sparklez30.
I was on 40 - 60 a day and gave up with will power alone although it was hard. My friend used patches and another thought the gum was best.
You need support to get through this and I suggest either the NHS stop smoking helpline or if your Doctors run a stop smoking group then join that. Just give your Doctors a ring and ask them to recommend support.
Good luck
Thanks Wino - I really am not a "group" kind of girl so think I will give that a miss. I'm not sure if its worth having a chat with my doctor though - see if there are any other options?
Hello Sparklez30,
I am someone who had no will power to help me stop, and tried most things, gum, patches, just giving up, but none worked for me.
I was given Zaiban on prescription to help me, and believe me, they took away my cravings for ciggies after 3/4 days, I was told to keep smoking for a week after I started taking them, but I couldn't even force myself after 3/4 days.
That was 6 years ago, and I've never wanted a ciggie since.
My wife still smokes, and my weekly poker nights are like a kipper smoking house, but from the day I stopped, even blowing smoke in my face made no difference. Ciggies just don't affect me one way or the other now.
I know it's not the same for everyone, but that's what worked for me.
Good luck with your quest.
TOTN.
