Kenny -v- The Governor and Company of the Bank of Scotland
Hey Everyone!
I had £160 of bank charges applied to my student account in June as a result of a temporary period of financial distress. I got nowhere with the Bank's Customer Relations department so I filed a small claims lawsuit against them.
As well as suing for the £160 I sued them back again for another £160 in damages, to seek redress for mental anguish, distress and inconvenience. I got a letter back two and a half weeks letter, settling in full for the £320 plus the £39 court fee.
