Default THIS WILL MAKE YOU SICK:::: WORTH A LOOK!!!!

    Hi
I am a 19 year old female student.
I will keep this relatively brief.
I went overdrawn by a few pounds to which I was charged a lot of money BUT the mistake was on abbeys part due to there awful call centre based in India. When I phoned and got the India based branch I asked for my balance as I only had 2 days until I was paid and I only needed a few pounds to travel by tube!
I was informed that I had £13.50 when in fact I only had £3.50 I had a massive argument with the bank and in the end they reversed the charges!!

    BUT THEN...

a few months later I had some family problems and an altercation and ended up homeless (NO I AM NOT A SMELLY WEIRDO AND IM BACK HOME NOW) but was homeless for 7months whilst trying to still maintain a job and full time studies.

I had received a documented receipt through the post for some freelance work I had done for the value of £70 somthing. On this documented receipt it showed the date of which the payment would go into my account... the acting agency which were paying me paid the money BUT into the wrong account whether that was their error or banks who knows. BUT what happened then was I used £40 for a weeks travelling to work and full time study.. which was then classed overdrawn and I was charged over £300 for this.. I WAS HOMELESS and explained the scenario but Abbeyicon INSISTED THAT WAS NOT THEIR PROBLEM AND ITS MY OWN FAULT IF IM HOMELESS AND CANNOT MANAGE MY FINANCES and said THEY HAD REFUNDED ME IN THE PAST.. LETS NOT FORGET REFUNDED ME BECAUSE THEIR STAFF MADE A MISTAKE!!!!
I AM DISGUSTED BY THEM.. and believe me when i tell you that was the brief story... there is so much more then that.. I just need some help with my initial letter to claim the charges back and I was wondering if anyone could help me get started...

    THANKYOU

    AND KEEP FIGHTING!!!

Hi and welcome to the forum. Please have a read of the FAQ and the referenced documents in the Library. There's a step by step guide and template letters.

When you've had a look please come back with any questions.

Yes, Abbeyicon seem to have stolen the crown that Barclaysicon had as the worst bank in the world though the 80's.

Do you need to modify the standard letter in the library to make it more personal to your cause?

If so, then we can help - it would still be best to post here as to help others rather than a PM or email.
