Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I've been on the site and I think Barclaycard have tried to "fob" me off with sending the usual T&C but with no signed agreement. In their letter to me accompanying these T&C they have stated "that under section 78, we must supply you wth a copy of your executed agreemnt and a statement of account which is practicable to refer. Please note, a copy of your current Barclaycard Credit Agreement will be sent under a separate cover."
Then latest T&C turned up...no signed agreement.
I've followed some threads, are the next stages now;
SAR request and also a letter requesting that they need to send me a true copy of the executed agreement. I am still paying the each month- extortionate rates... Has anyone had success in challenging Barclaycard in court if they cannot trace the signed CCA?
They've increased their % rates charged and I wanted to check the original terms....I'm paying the monthly minimums, but this has increased, and is a struggle to pay them ..I've challenged it but they are saying that that it is in their terms & conditions..hence I'm checking....
a sort of fire-fighting role here. Hate HFC & their past compulsory PPI ethos
