IC24 ISP, i give them my email address they give me my details. Against DPA?
When i have called IC24 my ISP i give my email address and they ask me if i am such & such at such an address. The call centre is based in India.
Does this action contrvene the DPA or because they are in india they are exempt?
The parent company is Brightview and have head office is in the UK.
Should i complain to the commisioner? I have warned the operater (different one each time) 3 times but still they reveal personal details when i give my email address which anyone can obtain.

They are NOT exempt from the DPA & they should have more stringent security questions dob address etc: which they should allow you to answer & never volunteer.
Sounds like poor training to me & you should 1st complain to their HQ threatening to report them to ICO
