I am curious to know how much the banks are in for here?

They owe me £0.00 and next week they will owe me £0.00 but if they lose the appeal I will equally be as happy as those who stand to get £15K or more once the secondary part of the case has ended(which we have yet to start).

Yesss yess we heard you the first few hundred times. We know the case is about the OFT being able to access the charges for fairness under the terms etc etc.

Let us just have a moment to enjoy the idea of getting something back! And you never know, you may just be wrong.

I got in there before the current test case and ended up with £2400 of which about £200 was interest icon

and £200 court costs..It bought a nice big hd tv and lots of over goodies

in relation to a getting back your charges what do you do if you closed the bank you was with years ago and you havent got no details i.e sort code and account numbers

you need to start your own thread via the "new thread" button at the top left for the appropriate bank in your case

Click HERE then on your bank (Lloyds/HSBC icon

/Barclays

/Etc) then the "New Thread" button

I got £10k back from Abbey icon

in 2006. I settled for this when they claimed that a further £1.5k was statute barred icon

. After tomorrow and the subsequent OFT ruling, I'm looking forward to going back after them for the rest.

Student Account £2400 which was then forced to a managed loan
HSBC Business Account £850 also wrapped into managed loan

All in all we've had £5,500 of service. Funnily enough, mortgage icon

aside, without us living beyond our means to recklessly enjoy and fund our obvious service addiction we wouldn't be in debt at all. Strange that isn't it?
