    Default Help please!

    Hi

can anyone advise please. My uncle took out car finance for his son on car with the agreement his son would pay the finance and when it was finished my uncle would sign car over to him. Long story short his son stopped paying and sold car without permission to a dealer we think. And now they have sold car on. Police say not a lot they can do. DVLA wont issue information to us were car went. Consumer direct said we could write to dealer arguing 'good title' but we dont know which dealers. I understand the finance was through a car dealer original but was loan not hp, does this make difference. Feel like banging head on brick wall.

Be grateful if anyone could help

if the car was not specifically mentioned in the agreement it has no bearing in the matter at all .

what are you trying to ask us, are you being chased and want to know what to do about the outstanding monies owed?

Sorry maybe didnt explain very well.
The finance was for the car but no specific agreement was agreed in writing between uncle and son regarding arrangement.

If it is HP i gather the title is owned by company, is this different if a loan arranged on car, trying to establish who owns title.

Finance company are chasing money which uncle cant afford.

If car was sold fraudulently, cos son signed uncle name, why cant police get involved.

How can we find out which dealer he sold it to.

    Hope thats better.
