Thread: Dumb newbie questons

Hi all, right then to start off I have been with Abbey for 5 years and their charges are getting right on my nerves. I get charged for going pennies or a few pounds over my overdraft limit (which is only £200). Thing is they charge their standard £30 then whack another £20 on top for going over my overdraft. It seems so excessive for a matter of more or less £3. They tried charging me £180 just before christmas for various things, and their charges push me over my limit and then they charge again!!!!!

Where do I even start? I'm considering switching to the Halifax but I want to get my money back. My latest charges were applied yesterday for going £4 over my overdraft. £50 was taken from my account!!!!

Please help this young newbie who doesn't have a clue.
