    Pauline,
from your post in the Scotland forum
do you know what the maximum amount of money you can claim for in one go is in Scotland and then how do i go about claiming the rest.
In Scotland due to the small claims limit people are doing one of the following
    1. Submitting a claim through the English courts system
    2. Severing the claim into amounts below £750 -Scottish small claimicon
    3. Submitting a claim via summary cause where the value of the claim is over £750 and up to (and including) £1500.
    4. Have not heard of anyone using ordinary cause yet which is for claims over £5000
I am currently using option 2,then going back for more AFTER they settle the first lot - however I cannot advise you what the best route for your personal circumstances are.

    Best of luck
    Charlie
