    Default Me vs Capital One

    Hi People,

Fresh from my success whooping HSBCicon's a**e, here's my progress so far:

*Had statements already so charges accrued of £100

    *Sent repayment request 10th July

*Noticed £48 added to my Credit Card on 19th July. Replied to them online saying I wanted the full amount and backed this up with a letter.

*Got a letter from Robert Udy telling me to keep my account in order and that they were giving me the £48 as goodwill.

    *lbaicon sent 27th July

*No reply to my letter so MCOL actioned today - it might only be a small amount but they are not entitled to it!!

You're right Les Gunn, even if you had lost it in the street you would spend some time looking for it. As they have unlawfully taken it, that makes it even more worthwhile, there's a point to prove as well as the recovery of a loss.

So, Capital Oneicon make me a settlement offer accepting no liability whatsoever and saying that they are still right. It was on £84.76, but it was worth every penny of the MCOL!

I've accepted, so another successful case closed

    GOOD LUCK WITH YOURS!
