We are looking at one for our daughter with Barclays. She has also been chased on this account by Mercers and then Wescot. Pretty sure there's PPI (Barclaycard) going back to 98 so sent SAR
about 2 weeks ago. to BC.
Got a letter back today from Wescot saying "Thank you for your letter..........currently investigating your query.............will suspend all collection activity.............may need to contact you though for more info.........process may take several weeks...........appreciat e your patience..........will contact you upon concluding our investigation!!!!!
They refer to BC as their client and have always done so.
Does anyone have anything similar and any ideas on what I should send them (if anything)

and a few months after that i got a letter from Wescott telling me they had passed me back to Barclayshark,
Wescott normally seen of easily!
